In Group People, we are 26 dedicated professionals with a variety of competences. We address leadership and development, people processes, safety and resilience including crisis management, compliance and data protection. Our role spans from overview and governance to designing and maintaining corporate systems, concepts, and services, to supporting the Business Areas.


We are now seeking an experienced, change-oriented, and inclusive leader to become our new Head of Group People Processes and Diversity.

 

You will drive a common DNV culture and principles on behalf of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee. Through this you will work towards safeguarding our people, supporting the implementation of DNV’s strategy, and achieving our ambitions. The Head of People Processes and Diversity should be a thought leader who can challenge existing ways of working and develop and implement governance and frameworks within Compensation and Benefits, Diversity and Inclusion and People HCM, Data & Analytics.

 

The Head of Group People Processes and Diversity leads a team of 7 people, reports to the Chief People Officer (CPO) and is a member of the Group People leadership team. To succeed in this role, you must be a people-centric and trusted leader with integrity who possesses excellent communication and networking skills.

 

Responsibilities and key tasks

The role is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

1. Global governance of the following People (HR) areas:

  • Compensation & benefits
  • Workforce Compensation, Approval of Personnel Administrative Guidelines,
  • Pension & Insurance, Executive Remuneration, Profit Share
  • Performance Management (together with People & Leadership Development unit)
  • Pulse surveys
  • Career Framework
  • People Reporting & Analytics
  • The DNV Management System (DMS)


2. Drive and execute development projects within the above areas.


3. Drive and implement DNV’s Diversity & Inclusion ambitions and initiatives to ensure this is embedded in our organization’s culture and way of working.


4. DNV’s Human Capital Management (Oracle based) and People BI (Power BI based) systems on behalf of the CPO


5. Support the CPO and Group CEO regarding:

  • Employee relations
  • People Due Diligence in Mergers & Acquisitions
  • Compensation Committee and Board of Directors


Position Qualifications

Key expectations to the Head of the People Processes & Diversity:

  • Broad experience with People processes in a large international company
  • Recognized as an influential leader with the ability to drive change through a collaborative working culture across businesses and nationalities
  • Leadership experience and through your leadership style engage and develop a team that puts the customer first, delivers performance and shapes the future
  • Strong relationship building and networking capabilities
  • Represent DNV in a professional and credible manner in both external and internal seminars, events, and presentations for management and employees
  • Committed to, and live by, DNV’s Purpose, Vision, and Values
  • Ability to build trust and confidence within the organization
  • A strategic and innovative thinker who gets results through seizing opportunities and suggesting solutions
  • Solution and results oriented, proactive, and keeping a finger on the pulse in the organization
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, with a strong command of the English language
