The Electrification, Maintenance & Modification (EMM) segment within Aker Solutions is responsible for maintenance and modification of existing facilities. Our objective is to be a leading supplier of low carbon solutions and electrification projects. We focus on optimizing field life solutions, driven by decarbonization and environmentally sound offerings. Our goals are ambitious and we need innovative, smart employees with us to do this. 

Our Mechanical Department in Sandnessjøen is now looking for a Mechanical Engineer. 

What will you be doing?

• Perform Mechanical engineering in study and execution phase. (Study competence will be an advantage)
• Act as package responsible engineer (PRE) incl bid evaluation, supplier coordination and follow-up, coordination of internal disciplines, interaction with procurement and client, testing and mechanical completion activities
• Multidiscipline coordination with project team
• Development of installation method
• Participate in testing and installation of equipment
• Quality Input and control of technical data and job preparation.

We think you should have:

• Graduate and professionals with short experience are encouraged to appy.
• Detailed knowledge of relevant design standards
• Solution oriented with good communication and collaboration skills
• In-depth knowledge of relevant Norwegian regulations and standards
• Good communication skills, both written and oral in Norwegian and English
