About the job

We are looking for an experienced IC designer with understanding of digital IC design and analog IC design. You have experience with SystemVerilog models of analog sub-systems and generating views like Liberty and Verilog. You have team lead experience and have experience in hiring skilled engineers. For complex System on chip (SoC) designs, an accurate model of analog functionality together with a well-defined mixed-signal verification flow is essential for high verification coverage when integrating analog IP’s into a SoC. You will work closely both with analog designers and digital design team to improve and take our mixed-signal model flow to the next level. You will lead the mixed-signal model team and be responsible for the digital models of the analog sub-systems. You will recruit engineers to grow your team. Good knowledge of digital CAD tools and features are important, along with an interest for learning our analog design flow. Key responsibilities
You will be responsible for building up our mixed-signal modeling discipline team. You will improve our mixed-signal verification flow and take analog modelling to a new level. You will work in close collaboration with analog designers for good understanding of analog challenges to create tomorrows state-of-the-art IC circuits. You will collaborate closely with our digital IC design groups and ensure that our mixed-signal models follow the rules and regulations of high-quality digital design.

Your main assignments will be:

  • Responsible for all SystemVerilog simulation models from the Wireless Group
  • Responsible for generation of Liberty models from the Wireless Group
  • Responsible for mixed-signal model process
  • Responsible for recruiting engineers to your team
  • Main contact point for support on SystemVerilog models from other groups
  • Contribute to and integrate changes in the digital process into the Wireless Group

Qualifications and skills

  • M.Sc in Electronics Engineering or similar
  • Digital IC Design and Verification
  • Basic knowledge and interest in analog IC design
  • Industrial experience with Liberty generation
  • Industrial experience with CAD tools and verification tools
  • Specification and Documentation
