Talent Manager – Group HR



You will be involved in executive recruitment as well as the design and implementation of our managerial mobility processes. The purpose of the role is to ensure acquisition, growth and retention of executive talent enabling our organizational capability to deliver on Hydro’s business strategy and priorities to lift profitability and drive sustainability - across business units.

You will report to Head of Group HR Organization and Leadership and be part of a department with 12 members working on Hydro’s global strategic People agenda.



Key tasks
In close collaboration with Corporate management and Lead HR Business Partners, you will be responsible for identifying, addressing, and promoting executive recruitment and mobility needs. You will also design, anchor, and take ownership for talent acquisition and mobility processes, and use data insights to facilitate and improve internal rotation and career progression. In addition, you will be responsible for facilitating global knowledge sharing, as well as securing the communication of best practices.



Qualifications
The ideal candidate holds a master’s degree within a relevant field, as well as 5-10 years of experience within leadership and talent management. Fluency in English is also a requirement. Experience from executive search, selection and organizational development projects is highly beneficial, as is knowledge of strategic HR developments and trends. We seek a professional with a growth-based mindset and an innovative perspective, who can create effective solutions with a fresh approach to existing challenges.

To succeed in this role, we believe you combine a structured and analytical approach with creative and conceptual abilities. You are motivated and thrive when handling multiple tasks in parallel. You have a strong interest in shaping and developing effective solutions in close collaboration with key stakeholders in a complex organizational context. Although you can work autonomously, others perceive you as a good collaborator and recognize your high work ethics and standards.

Additional information
The position is based in Oslo and will require some travel, approximately 10-30 days annually, depending on the tasks and projects. As part of our recruitment process, we use Semac for background check.
