Sustainability/Chemical Regulatory Affairs

Fresh out of school or looking for a new challenge? Our department is currently looking for team members who will contribute to our journey in preparing Jotun for the future.

Group Product Safety Department (GPS) is located at Jotun's Headquarter in Sandefjord, Norway.
We are an international environment where product and chemical safety, life cycle assessments (LCA), and environmental product declarations (EPD) are important. The requirements for product safety documentation are increasing and we are contributing to the transition of a safer and more sustainable industry.

Sustainability officer

GPS is now searching for a Sustainability officer with an interest in LCA, digital tools, and improvement projects in a dynamic environment. Our team is responsible for environmental product declarations, life cycle assessments, green building standards, and VOC regulations, testing, and confirmations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Developing Green Building Solution documentation.
• Generate, maintain, and verify EPDs.
• Carry out LCAs simulations, comparisons, and analysis.
• Provide training, professional advice and recommendations related to LCA and EPD.

Chemical Regulatory Affairs officer (x2)

GPS is now searching for 2 Chemical Regulatory Affairs officers with interest in chemical regulations, use of digital tools, and product safety documentation.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Evaluate and generate Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
• Improve processes related to chemical safety documentation
• Follow up chemical regulations to ensure compliance
• Provide training, professional advice and recommendations related to chemical regulatory affairs

For all positions:

Qualifications

Bachelor or Master degree in natural/environmental-sciences like biology, ecology, chemistry, or other relevant backgrounds. Knowledge and experience with Life Cycle Assessment is an advantage.
