Technical Operations lead in Corporate Banking Services DNB

We’re looking for a Technical Operations Lead who can oversee and lead the Ops practices in our DevOps teams in Corporate Banking Services Family.

In this position you will have the opportunity to work with our tech family teams that are passionate about building great products using wide ranges of technologies both on-Cloud, on-prem & legacy systems. You will have the opportunity to work on large, complex systems and participate in defining operational requirements & metrics.

Who we are:  

Corporate Banking Services tech family is a rapidly growing technology team within DNB Technology & Services – Core Banking Systems division. The family has responsibility for our corporate banking core banking systems from cradle to grave, meaning you design it, you build it, you secure it, you run it, you fix it and you retire it – all within the family. Our goal is to provide stable services to our customer and business users through our system portfolios.

Some of the things you will be working on:

Overseeing day-to-day technical operations together with our DevOps teams, including but not limited to service management, incident management & continuity management, ensuring that they are carried out in an appropriate, cost-effective way. Designing, implementing and improving existing policies, guidelines, processes and best practices for operations and carrying out training of our teams. Implement DNB’s security and privacy policies together with IT security, risk and quality, ensuring they remain compliant. Coordinate internal and external deliveries and service delivery units. Ensuring customer satisfaction by securing high uptime and quality of service. Represent Corporate banking as part of the DNB incident response team and assist the on-call support team in their work when support incidents are escalated.


About you:

  • You are a servant leader by heart.
  • You have exceptionally strong relational and communications skills, and can bridge the gap between people, technology, and different business areas.
  • You enjoy variety in your work and are comfortable with changing requirements.
  • You enjoy challenging established truths and exploring different ways of working, and you do this with integrity and in a way that inspires the people around you.
  • You are also passionate about technology and have ideas about how we can change the way financial services are offered.
  • You have experience managing agile DevOps teams.
  • You have experience with ITIL processes.
  • You have experience working with enterprise architecture.
  • You have technical background and have worked with ops or DevOps and managed software in production.
