Norrøna is looking for a structured CSR responsible (RD&D) with strong execution skills

We are now looking for an experienced resource within Corporate Social Responsibility to help us execute and report on our strategy and work ahead.

As our CSR responsible in our RD&D department you will develop and implement policies and routines based upon existing and emerging regulatory requirements related to product/material development and production. Making sure Norrøna at all times is aligned with rules, legislations and expectations both internally at Norrøna as well as from the society as a whole. 

You will join as a team member in our RD&D department, training your colleagues within CSR work as well as being on site at our manufacturers and suppliers to audit, evaluate, train and measure - to ensure responsible business across our value chain.

The right candidate does preferably have experience working with CSR either at a government or NGO level, with strong interest for responsible and sustainable business. You have an analytical mindset, digital competence, strong execution power and great teamwork skills.

The role reports to our Head of Sourcing Costing and Quality.
Travel to Asia and Europe to be expected.

Main responsibilities

• Be Norrønas resource within current CSR legislation/regulation related to the work w/in RD&D
  
• Develop and implement policies and routines related to CSR
  
• Conduct risk analysis and measurements related to our sourcing strategy as well as related to onboarding of new manufacturers and suppliers.
  
• Making sure relevant certifications, documentations and agreements are updated and valid at all times
  
• Responsible for conducting annual reports to relevant stakeholders
  
• Train and cooperate with our manufacturers and suppliers so that the Norrøna CSR policy is fully understood, accepted and followed
• Arrange 3rd party auditing, analyze and do corrective actions if necessary
  
• Educate internally about new standards and legislations to ensure best practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience with CSR
• Strong written and oral communication skills in Norwegian and English is a requirement
