QHSE Manager

We are experiencing a positive development in the market, and looking for a motivated and experienced QHSE Manager. You will work in our Services, Rental and Production department and assist in planning, organizing and facilitation of Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environmental programs and tasks that support company goals and requirements with the overall goal of maintaining Uptime International safety culture.

Key tasks and responsibilities

You will work closely with our organization both in project activities and in day-to-day operations. You will be a part of a Services, Rental and Production Department and will report directly to the SVP Rental and Services, and functionally to the Head of HSEQ. 

• Lead compliance reviews, risk assessments, incident investigations and other safety assessments and inspections
• Actively report, coordinate, support and follow up on Non-conformance's with the whole organization
• Follow up of customers and suppliers
• Assist and advice on QHSE issues to make recommendations to the organization
• Recognize potential QHSE issues and monitor corrective actions to prevent re occurrence
• Be a visible QHSE resource in the organization
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of applicable laws and regulations and internal organizational requirements
• Chair and/or participate in internal and external QHSE audits
• Chair and/or participate, advice and facilitate Risk Assessments
• Ensure that QHSE training is conducted and recorded
• Chair and/or participate in reporting QHSE information to customers when needed

Qualifications

• College, University Degree, ideally in an HSE or Quality segment is preferred but long experience from similar position may compensate for formal education
• Minimum 5 years Experience from industrial or maritime organizations
• Excellent computer skills
• Familiar with Norwegian QHSE laws, regulations, and practices
• Excellent communication skills - fluent Norwegian and English
• Uptime International is certified in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO45001 and knowledge and understanding of these standards is a requirement
