Orkla Group Procurement (OGP) is the centralized procurement function which handles procurement of categories that have strategic importance across a number of Orkla businesses, as well as own the processes and tools governing the end-to-end sourcing process. We are in a number of locations in Europe with the majority located in Oslo, Malmo, Stockholm and Denmark.
The Procurement Operations & Sustainability team within OGP are now looking for an analyst/senior analyst with an interest for digital tools, sustainability and improvement projects in a dynamic environment. The team is responsible for improving the way we source and cooperate with suppliers as well as overseeing the sustainable sourcing processes, operational procurement processes and digitalization projects.
How you will contribute to Orkla´s future success
Digital and Sustainability are cornerstones of a successful future procurement setup and you will be an important contributor to how Orkla work with our procurement processes and provide support in reaching the Orkla sustainability targets where procurement plays a crucial role. Your job will be to support and lead different initiatives in the team, with an initial focus on the sustainability area as well as digitalization.
Examples of projects and what you will learn
• Develop tools and processes to follow-up and communicate our sustainability targets
• Carry out benchmarking and qualitative analysis within the sustainability area, looking at for example deforestation, climate impact, living wage, etc.
• Design and build data models and analytics solutions to track performance against global strategic targets and identify operational improvement areas
• Be responsible for continuous reporting of specific KPI’s such as process compliance
• Support our internal and external sustainability reporting
• Analyze transactional data and identify use cases for automation
• Build business cases, project plans and support implementation of new digital solutions
Who you are
• Excellent communication skills – you will interact with stakeholders across Orkla’s diverse set of businesses
• Highly motivated and proactive in driving improvements – willing to take on new challenges
• Strong interest in sustainability, previous experience not required but a plus
• Interest in digital tools – and ease of adopting them
• Excellent data literacy – including the ability to turn data into insights and communicate it to your colleagues
• 0-3 years of business experience and an academic degree within Business Administration or Engineering
• Fluency in English, knowledge of a Scandinavian language is a plus
• Some travel will be required
You might also have
• Some experience with SQL, DAX and VBA
• Experience as a consultant or in a similar role
• Knowledge of process improvement projects in larger matrix organizations
