The Sustainability Data Analyst will be a vital member of a highly competent global sustainability team and will interact with other team members across departments and geographies. The Data Analyst will support in the execution of the company’s global sustainability strategies and ambitions, monitor sustainability data and metrics, and assist in the company’s sustainability communication. Responsibility for identifying, collecting and quality-assurance of data used for environmental impact assessments will be an important part of the job.

Duties and responsibilities

Responsible for developing, auditing and/or complying with the company’s environmental management system
Collection, maintenance and analysis of relevant sustainability data and metrics
Performing research, reviews and analysis for special projects
Preparation of necessary administrative, operational and statistical reports for use by internal and/or external stakeholders
Cross-functional collaboration with all of the company’s worldwide business areas, related to sustainability activities
Actively contribute to our 2030 Ambitions and promote sustainable practices in our supply chain

Qualifications

Preferably a Master’s Degree at minimum and/or commensurate position-related experience

Personal qualities

Demonstrate strong analytical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Competency in sustainability and environmental impact assessment methodologies and tools, including life cycle assessment
Experience in data management tools and analysis
Experience in programming and business intelligence tools is a plus
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
Ability to identify and maintain a high degree of confidentiality, when necessary
Ability to make independent decisions and demonstrate a high level of initiative and proactiveness
Strong sense of urgency, with the ability to manage competing demands and frequent changes in the work environment, while managing time effectively to meet deadlines
