About imove

imove is a Norwegian mobility company that specializes in car subscription services and solutions. We operate our own imove-branded electric vehicle subscription service and a white-label platform enabling 3rd parties to offer their own subscription services. OEMs, financing companies, insurers, importers, car dealerships, mobility startups, and non-automotive players like electricity companies use imove’s platform.

In July 2021 we closed a €19 million / $22.3 million Series A round led by pan-European online car market AutoScout24. It was joined by the Venture Capital Funds Norselab and Idekapital, automotive fund Vazuki 2019, as well as the Norwegian state climate investment company Nysnø. Existing owners include Frydenbø NXT, Hedin Automotive, DSD and NEW & Company.imove was founded in 2018 and has offices in Bergen, Oslo, Trondheim, Stavanger and Stockholm. imove is growing rapidly and currently employs about 40 mobility rockstars. 

Who You will work with 

As Accounting Assistant, you will be a vital part of the company’s finance team and an essential colleague of the company’s financial controller. You will be working from imove's office in Bergen with the CFO, Financial controller, and the in-house accounting team, as well as external accounting consultants across imove’s locations in Sweden, the Netherlands (expect to launch in Amsterdam end of 2021 / start of 2022) and future new countries.

Who you are

You are a team player who wants to join an ambitious team with a great vision of making electrical vehicles available worldwide. We would like you to be goal- and solution-oriented with passion and ambition to help us grow into new markets. 

Commercial controlling is an essential competence and your strong skills in Excel will help you quickly get into the role. You will assess P&L performance, coordinate financial planning, and manage month-end closing activities. Your analytical mindset will come in handy when you provide management with new and insightful analysis and your keen sense of attention to detail will guide you in your communication with auditors and authorities. 

Qualifications 

• You have a bachelor’s degree in Economics and/or Accounting together with at least 1 year of experience from a similar position.
• General knowledge of accounting and accounting systems. Experience with Xledger is a plus.
• Structured and responsible with a cooperative mindset and ability to maintain deadlines. 
• You are fluent in English & knowledge in any of the Scandinavian languages is a plus, yet not required.
