Do you want to be part of Orkla's Amazon team?

The Amazon business in Orkla is growing rapidly and has high growth ambitions going forward. In this new and exciting role, we are looking for an analytical, results oriented and ambitious candidate to lead the financial management of Orkla's Amazon business! You will play a key role in ensuring a successful transition from what used to be a small project to what is becoming a scalable business - selling many of Orkla's beloved brands on some of the biggest marketplaces in the world. Your main areas of responsibility

  • Establish and manage all financial processes required within a company and be responsible for internal reporting, budgeting, and annual reporting
  • Continuously monitor profitability, cost levels and financial performance of Orkla's Amazon business and provide strategic recommendations to the rest of the team
  • Establish and follow up contact with key internal support functions
  • Work closely with the Supply Chain manager to continuously monitor stock levels across the supply chain and keeping OOS situations to an absolute minimum
  • Support the replenishment process and monitor shipments to quickly identify issues

In addition to the overall responsibilities above, an important part of the job is to proactively identify commercial improvement areas by delivering actionable insights from the data and analytics available on Amazon and other relevant sources.

What is your background?

  • BSc or MSc in accounting or finance
  • 5+ years experience from finance, analysis, controlling, accounting or other relevant field
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, exemplary financial modelling skills
  • Experience with SAP and Power BI is a great advantage
  • Experience from logistics a great advantage, but not a key requirement
  • Experience working internationally or cross-border an advantage but not a requirement
