Kebony's Technology and Project department in Skien is looking for a Senior Researcher to take a leading role in further development of our technology and to present our ambitions and goals to stakeholders worldwide.

Key responsibilites:

Leading internal and external research projects on national and EU-level
Presentations of technology:
- on scientific conferences
- to customers
- other stakeholders
Cooperation with international research and test institutes
Conducting laboratory and field trials for assessing wood properties, i.e. decay resistance, fire properties, surface applications, physical and mechanical properties
Work in accordance with our high standard of HSE
As part of managing our network, international travels must be expected

Formal experience:

PhD within wood science and preferably within wood modification technology
Relevant experience within all areas mentioned under Key responsibilities
Preferably insight in wood-based markets, industries and niches
Fluent in English and preferably in Norwegian language

Personal skills

We believe you are self-driven and creative. You have great communicating skills and love to build networks with stakeholders on an international level.

The main workplace is at our research and production site in Skien, Norway. Our research facilities here include offices, laboratory, test site and pilot plant.
