We are seeking a Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join our dedicated team with an ambition to proactively support the business in navigating the global regulatory landscape.
Objectives and Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation (chemicals, biocides, food/feed etc) in markets where the company operates
- Monitor and communicate current and potential legislative changes and implications and initiate necessary actions related to changing chemical regulations in various markets and regions
- Support the organisation in regulatory evaluations and provide expertise in development of products in cooperation with R&D and business areas
- Contribute to and perform substance and product registrations in areas such as REACH and global REACH similar regulations
- Interact with customers and suppliers with regards to product regulatory and compliance solutions, needs, and responses
- Interface with relevant authorities, industry associations and institutes on regulatory matters
- Develop regulatory and toxicological assessments for Borregaard’s products
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Chemistry or similar
- Minimum 5 years of experience within Product Safety, Product Stewardship or Regulatory Affairs
- Working knowledge of the relevant legislative framework
- Generally good IT skills, knowledge of SAP and chemical management systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

- Ability to focus on business, customer support and fulfilling legal requirements simultaneously
- Ability to work across functions in a global organisation
The position will report to Borregaard’s Corporate Regulatory Affairs Manager.
