Sustainability Specialist

Sustainability in Elopak are combining our environmental efforts with areas such as social and ethical issues, safety and responsible supply chain. To continuously support the organization in making the best sustainable decisions for our products we seek a pro-active and dedicated colleague to our team. 

Main responsibilities and tasks:

• Coordinate sustainability data collection from all Elopak entities globally, analyze data, track progress on KPIs and present to internal stakeholders
• Develop, improve and maintain reporting systems
• Initiate and facilitate improvement projects in collaboration with internal entities
• Support Elopak's annual sustainability reporting, including voluntary and customer   requested surveys
• Develop and maintain carbon footprint calculations, and support and coordinate life cycle assessments of Elopak's products
• Implement and manage sustainability certification systems in Elopak's factories worldwide
• Continuously improve and increase efficiency of work processes
• Develop and manage projects related to Elopak's sustainability program 
• Various administrative responsibilities as well as ad hoc tasks within the     sustainability team

Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Master degree (or equivalent), preferably within environmental science or engineering
• 3-5 years relevant experience from the industrial sector, preferably within environmental/sustainability topics
• Engaged and pro-active with an analytical mindset to support continuous improvement of our processes
• Good business understanding
• Advanced knowledge and abilities with MS Office software, particularly Excel 
• Excellent English language skills, written and oral
• Self-driven and eager to learn and develop
• Experience from project management is an asset
