The Troll West Electrification project is a prestige project with long horizon where the goal is to reduce CO2 emissions offshore Norway. By installing electricity to the Troll B and Troll C platforms from land, replacing old gas turbines, this will lead to cleaner and more efficient energy production and thus reduce climate footprint.

We are now looking for several Electrical Engineers, graduates or with experience from onshore or offshore projects to help us succeed.

Project is lead from Bergen but home office or split location is possible for the right candidate.

Due to the current pandemic restrictions, only candidates that are already located in Norway can be considered for this assignment.


What will you be doing?

• System Engineering - Electrical engineering
• Front End engineering, concept phase - onshore and offshore scope, modification project
• Solutions for high voltage power distribution systems and equipment
• Solutions for low voltage power distribution systems, cables and equipment
• Preparation of study reports with appendices
• Estimating of cost and weight in a multidiscipline environment
• Onshore and offshore survey
• Delivering results and meeting customer expectations

• Bachelor degree in electrical engineering
• Relevant experience from onshore or offshore industry or power networks. Graduates are welcome to apply.
• Relevant experience from onshore or offshore projects within oil and gas
• Experience from High Voltage equipment and/or networks
• Experience with ATEX requirements and ATEX certified equipment
• Personal Qualities: Accurate, flexible and organized, service minded, ability to work independently, teamworking skills
• Good knowledge of English both verbally and written language. Norwegian language is an advantage
