The Python core team is responsible for developing services and jobs that perform backtesting, transformations, prediction modelling etc. on time series using state of the art algorithms and machine learning, and expose services to our front-end application. Our services are managed by Google Kubernetes Engine. Scalability and high quality is key to everything in the Exabel platform, as well as short turnaround using CI/CD.
The Engineering team is a DevOps team using agile methodologies. Be prepared for your part on support duty as well, since we all share that responsibility.
Senior Software Engineer - Python Job Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and test new and improved features
- Handling incidents (when on support duty)
Senior Software Engineer - Python Qualifications / Skills:
- Experience with Python programming
- Experience with time series modelling and/or machine learning
- Experience with distributed systems
- Experience with software development
- Experience with SaaS and DevOps
- Self-driven
- Good communication skills, written and verbal
Education and Experience Requirements:
Master’s degree in computer science or related field
5-plus years of relevant experience
