We are currently looking for an Industrial Relations Manager.
The Industrial Relations manager is responsible for facilitating the relationship with employees and unions. The role is a key part in delivering solutions in line with collective bargaining agreements and relevant legal framework to optimize project objectives while building a positive and engaging work environment. The role is also responsible for total reward strategies and for administrating various total rewards programs. As an IR Manager you will work along with hard-working and professional colleagues. You will have a key role in making an impact on both the company`s success and the industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that compensation practices are in compliance with current legislation and CBA’s and meet our standard and obligations with regards to pay equity and human rights.
  • Advise and support stakeholders on relevant opportunities and limitations within CBAs and legal framework
  • Focal point for all aspects related to work schedules and rotation agreements
  • Management of ongoing IR issues related to unions and employees
  • Conduct audits and prepare reports
  • Provide guidance and support on job evaluations, market competitiveness assessments and internal equity comparisons.
  • Manage the annual compensation review process, including negotiations with the respective unions.
  • Manage our pension program and personnel-related insurances
  • Contact with relevant external interest groups and public authorities
  • Liaise with Worley Global Reward team to align global compensation and reward programs to meet local needs. Manage projects/initiatives within IR, Comp & Ben and/or HR as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master`s degree within HR, finance or law
  • Strong knowledge and experience of Norwegian collective bargaining agreements. Experience with “Industrioverenskomsten” will be beneficial
  • In-depth understanding of employment legislation
  • Experience with offshore operations    
  • Experience with managing wage groups and salary structures
  • Excellent MS Office skills 

Abilities

  • Strong analytical and commercial mindset with ability to balance short- and long-term impact
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in in Norwegian and English
  • Excellent human relations and interpersonal skills
