On a global scale, a rapidly growing population is consuming more fish than ever before.This trend is due to the growth and development of sustainable land-based aquaculture, which causes less impact on the environment and builds a better and greener economy. Land-based aquaculture is a fast growing industry where demand for products and services are expected to increase significantly over the years to come. Our owners, Pure Salmon LTD aim to produce as much as 260 000 tons of Atlantic salmon a year. The group has already invested in large land-based fish farms in the US, Poland, France and Japan, and they also have a number of other extensive land-based farming projects in the making, including in China and South Africa. The group focuses on sustainable land-based salmon farming, produced as close as possible to where the consumers live. Beside this, Pure Salmon Kaldnes is at the moment building SalMar Tjuin, the largest landbased fish-farm in the world and Salten Smolt.

Your key working tasks and contributions:   

In the role as After Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for establishing good relations with clients, suppliers and partners.
Your focus will be to secure optimal, cost effective solutions of the highest quality. In doing so you will improve margins for both internal and external customers as well as Pure Salmon Kaldnes. You will update our CRM system to ensure that valuable information is available at all times. You will be predominantly office based, with telephone and email as important tools.

These are what we consider to be the key tasks for this position:

  • After sales and follow-up with internal and external customers.
  • Supplier contact and follow-up of your ongoing projects.
  • Collaborate and maintain dialog with our project managers, engineers and purchasing department.
  • Optimisation of spare parts inventory.
  • Systematise and improve logistics and transport.
  • Develop sales material in collaboration with our communications department.
  • Attend tradeshows and events (in Norway). 
 

We estimate 10-15 traveling days per year. Compensation is given accordingly to company guidelines. The position reports to the Manager of After Sales O&M Support. 

Competence requirements: 

  • Degree in a relevant competence area
    • Extensive experience may compensate for other educational background. 
  • Drivers License. 
  • Language skills; Nordic and English (Oral and written). 

Meritorious competence/ experience:  

  • Experience from private sector/industrial company.
  • Success from previous after market operations
  • Interest for technology and equipment used in Landbased fish-farming 
  • Experience with filters, pumps, piping and other mechanical and electrical equipment
  • knowledge of multi-discipline projects.
