The Norwegian company has about 50 employees and its headquarter is situated at Langhus, just outside Oslo. We are now searching for an international responsible .

Key Account Manager

to handle one of our most important OEM customers from the Norwegian sales organization.

Job description:

The OEM is a global market leader in marine and offshore equipment, and your main tasks will be to:

  • Create and execute a Customer Development Plan incl. trends, innovations, market, competition, products requirements and stakeholders.
  • Define and communicate acquisition strategy to specific target groups in order to create strong and lasting relationships.
  • Lead by coaching a group of international Rexroth International Sales Team members.
  • Identify potential through research and data analysis, e.g. by taking in account the customers strategy and develop new business cases.
  • Project hunting and management of all major customer projects (Total lifecycle).
  • Manage customer related marketing activities like events, promotions and campaigns.
  • Manage pre-selling activities like innovation workshops, specification work and tests.
  • Manage commercial activities like global negotiation of contracts, prices and claims.
  • Manage the local sales activities as a sales engineer to gain knowledge and competence of daily customers needs.
  • Reporting to Rexroth management (business status, escalation).
  • Conflict and communication management among different countries, cultures and interests.
  • As KAM you must accept extensive travel, including some visits to Asia.

Qualifications:

  • High drive, energy and commercial engaged.
  • Executive sales person with over 10 years of experience in technical system sales and commercial activities like contracting, pricing, logistics etc.
  • Strategic and entrepreneurial thinking and behavior, leading teams by content, with extraordinary networking and negotiation skills. To understand different cultures is a must.
  • Technical Drive & Control System understanding (Electronics/Controls and / or Hydraulics. Engineering experience in the Marine sector is a huge advantage.
  • Exellent communication and presentation skills, good social competence to work in international teams, experience with project management and preferrably knowledge to SAP sales tools.

Further information:

We would like the International Key Account Manager to live close to one of the customers Nordic locations, which is south-east in Norway or south-west (alt. mid-east) in Sweden.  You must be fluent in spoken and written English, while minimum basic skills in a Nordic language is a plus.
