RPAS Payload Technology Specialist

Nordic Unmanned is seeking an RPAS Payload Technology Specialist.

The RPAS Payload Technology Specialist position reports to the Sr. VP Advisory who is accountable for Nordic Unmanned’s advisory on emerging Technologies and Regulations. The main responsibilities will be to fully understand and document the capabilities of various types of payloads, complete market research and support the introduction of new payloads into Nordic Unmanned assets to help achieve our business objectives.

The RPAS Payload Technology Specialist will be an active member of project teams that will serve internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities – How will you help us grow?

• Be an active ccontributor by providing research and analysis of various types of RPAS payloads that could be used by Nordic Unmanned.
  
• Identify emerging RPAS payloads technologies and help position them in the Nordic Unmanned portfolio for various types of RPAS
• Present anslysis and recommendations for selection of RPAS payloads to fulfill Nordic Unmanned business targets and assist in discussions with providers and partners.
• Execute preparation of training material to present the capabilities and limitations of various technologies used in RPAS payloads.
• Contribute to creating new business opportunites by leveraging capabilities of RPAS payloads in various areas of activities (maritime, security, infrstructure and logistics)
• Contribute to projects with Nordic Unmanned Operations (COO) and Technology (R&D) – (CTO) on RPAS payloads related topics.
• Provide high level understanding on the requirements and challenges for integrating the RPAS payloads into various RPAS systems and analysis tools especially considering control and data exchanges required to meet the quality of service expectations.
• Support marketing and sales activities.
• Contribute to Nordic Unmanned safety and quality culture.

• University degree, preferably within science or engineering - i.e. Physics, math or other relevant.
