We`re looking for our new Packaging Director

We are looking for a Packaging Director to our main production plant at Ringnes Gjelleråsen, just outside Oslo. The packaging director is the head of the Packaging department and reports to VP ISC Norway.

As our Packaging Director your key responsibilities will be:

• Ensure that the packaging department operates safely and in accordance with legal and group standards
• Responsible for all processes and people from bright beer/beverage receipt through to finished pallets on the end of the packaging line
• Responsible for the delivery of agreed production plans according to quality, cost and service criteria
• Responsible for the short- and long-term development of people and plant within the department
• Drive performance gaps closure and continuous improvement of Packaging KPIs through effective use of Carlsberg Excellence Methodologies
• Ensure that all Carlsberg standard methods, tools and process are implemented in accordance with regional and global agreements
• Actively participates as part of the site senior management team in order to develop and achieved site strategy and objectives
• Actively participates as part of the regional and global packaging best practice community

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

• University degree in Engineering or technical equivalent.
• Managerial experience within a high speed packaging environment
• 5 years’ experience within a production environment with 3 years at management level.
• Proven experience in developing people and plant, managing budgets and delivering performance improvements through Lean TPM methodology.
• Fluent in English and Norwegian (preferable)
