We are looking for a HR Partner and Office Manager to be responsible for the daily HR operations and Facility management in Norway (approximately 130 employees in four locations). This role is crucial in our organization and you will support the business, ensure the alignment of HR activities and priorities to the HR Global operating model as well as alignment to the international Facility organization. You will need to be accustomed to working with senior stakeholders, partnering with Business Leaders and building a network across the broader HR organization.

 

The Role 

Management

  • You will be establishing and embedding HR solutions, ways of working, policies and processes while continuously improving service levels.
  • You will provide day to day management of the Receptionist and coordinate the activities of the Facility, HR services and Recruitment teams 
  • You will also work in partnership with the HR Centres of Expertise, Segment and functional Talent Advisors in the region.
  • You will be accountable to oversee compliance, regulatory and controls within the HR function.
  • You will be a member of the country leadership team reporting to the HR Director for the Nordics with a matrix reporting into the Country Leader for Norway and the EMEA Facility Director.


HR Business Partnering

  • Partner with Country Business Leader to understand the key business needs, providing HR analytics and insight, ensuring HR advice and practices support and drive business initiatives.
  • Coach people managers to undertake their responsibilities, utilizing global HR technology, global processes and the HR support model.
  • Work closely with the Business to deliver on the annual performance and compensation process.
  • Handle employee relations individual cases, providing guidance to colleague and to people manager to ensure successful outcomes that balance risk and business cost. 
  • Ensure adherence to unique jurisdictional requirements and monitor issues for continuous improvement of employment practices and processes.
  • Support the implementation of inclusion and diversity strategy and initiatives in-country; initiated for Willis Towers Watson globally and by the business locally.

 

Change Management

  • Support the implementation and delivery of global HR and segment/function initiatives, providing information and guidance to ensure local considerations are factored into project plans and managing implementation at a country level. 
  • Lead on new ways of working and maintaining a productive and harmonious workplace
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR policies and procedures
  • This role requires that you understand the needs for the local business with our global tools and processes
  • Support cross-business culture


Reward related tasks

  • Manage the renewal of benefit programs in accordance with the WTW benefits governance processes.
  • Work with third-party vendors for the management of benefit programs.
  • Effectively communicates with employees to ensure a good understanding of benefit plans.
  • Ensure plans are in place for any Inclusion and Diversity reporting requirements
  • Partner with Centre of Expertise leads to ensure global programs are delivered effectively in the region.


About You 

We believe that you have 5 years of experience as an HR business partner or HR manager with a track record of success in partnering with leaders. We regard experience from a global organization as a merit and expect that you are used to structure your work locally with global tools. This role is wide and will require you to be able to adapt to challenging situations with personal resilience and diplomacy. A broad knowledge of labour law is required. 

Your personal qualities include being a strong leader with an ability to motivate with good communication skills. We are looking for an energetic and ambitious HR professional who enjoys operating in an international matrix organization. You are fluent on Norwegian and English,  are self-motivated, have a positive mindset and the ability to work independently with a drive for results.
