About us

Loan Capital Markets (LCM), a part of the Large Corporate and Institutional Banking (LC&I) division in Danske Bank, plays an active role in complex financing arrangements. We support with specialist bankers located across the Nordic region focusing on origination of loans within Corporate Loans, Leveraged Finance, Real Estate Investment Banking, Project Finance, and Infrastructure. LCM also includes our Loan Agency teams in Copenhagen and Stockholm, and our Loan Syndications team in London. The client scope ranges from large multinationals to mid-caps.

LCM has a Capital Markets oriented business model which includes underwrites and distribution of loans, and bridge financing to capital markets take-outs. Danske Bank is the most established Underwriter and MLA of Nordic syndicated Loans according to Bloomberg League tables, ahead of several international investment banks and regional commercial banks.

Your role as an Analyst in LCM

You will, as a member of various client and transaction teams, learn and deepen your understanding and experience in complex financing arrangements. Specifically, you will make strategic, financial and cash flow analyses and evaluate due diligence materials to arrive at assessments of debt capacity and capital structure alternatives, and prepare presentations for internal decision makers and for corporate clients, private equity funds and other potential borrowers, as well as for investors in syndicated loans. You will also draft and negotiate term sheets and loan documents.

Who are you?

To achieve your goals in LCM, you should have good analytical skills and a positive ”can do” attitude. You are excited about working in a progressive and skilled environment, and you are independent, creative, result oriented and a quick learner. It is also important that you are a solid team player and have good communications skills, as you will be in touch with internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis. Fluency in English is a requirement as we operate in an international environment. We work in a competitive market where things can get hectic from time to time – it is therefore important that you are able to prioritize your work tasks. Competences in Excel and Powerpoint are critical as well as a high level of IT proficiency.
