MICE Manager/Coordinator for Bergen and Oslo

We are looking for the right candidates for our MICE department in Bergen and Oslo. The MICE Manager/Coordinator position primarily involves developing and maintaining an already existing client portfolio professionally and creatively within our growing meeting, incentive, conference, and events department.

Responsibilities:

• Planning and executing creative offers tailored for our client's needs, you will be responsible for your projects from start to end, including budget, profitability, negotiation and contracting, execution and closing projects
• Budgeting for the department
• Organize fam trips/site inspections when required
• Coordinate and book venues, meeting facilities, excursions and activities, hotels, transportation, and restaurants all over Norway in close cooperation with our suppliers
• Product development and exploring new opportunities and products to offer our clients
• Delivering a high level of service within the high-end travel market
• Work tasks will vary and develop in line with the position and according to the company's needs
• Training of new staff
• Attend sales trips/trade shows

Requirements:

• Previous experience in planning and managing MICE events is required
• Excellent abilities in: planning, working with budgets, organization, paying attention to details, time management and being an excellent team player
• A good understanding of the logistic side of event production, and planning, as well as knowledge of the luxury travel sector
• Being able to work on different projects and clients at the same time
• The job will require travel and irregular working hours from time to time, therefore a high level of flexibility is needed
• English - fluent level is required and Norwegian is an advantage
• Good knowledge & skills in PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Office in general
