TMC (Tamrotor Marine Compressors AS) is the World leading supplier of compressed air system to the Marine and Offshore market. Our products are oil lubricated rotary screw compressors, all type of compressed air dryers and filters, compressed air system solutions, oil free ALS compressors (air lubrication compressors), gas compressors and special compressors for offshore installations topside. Our customers are shipyards and ship owners Worldwide and we have a Global service and distribution system for spare parts.

Our target is to provide 7/24 technical support and be able to deliver all wearing parts to any airport in the World within 48hours.

The objective for the Sales Manager Aftermarket is to continuously search for new aftermarket opportunities, guide our customers in our technically solutions and promote TMC in the Global Marine & Offshore sector.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the Global Aftermarket Sales Manager to achieve optimal customer coverage
  • Coordinate own sales activities with head of global sales.
  • Plan activity and follow up key customers regularly in defined areas and markets
  • Actively visit customers to identify new aftermarket opportunities
  • Utilize our installed base to promote our upgrade and service opportunities
  • Work closely with our technical support and spare part supply team
  • Maintain old and seek new contacts and establish strong relation with customers technical, operation, purchase department
  • Follow up sales quotations
  • Support and execute market campaigns to promote TMC aftermarket products 
  • Utilize CRM system to log and track opportunities and customer interactions
  • Participate in setting the annual budgets and sales plan for defined customer and markets.
  • Develop to be a superior technical product adviser for our customers
  • Support TMC global offices and sales agents when required
  • Participate on execution of seminar & exhibitions

We are searching for self-driven, technical and commercial minded professional salesperson with a proven record of success dealing directly with customers in the maritime & offshore sector.

  • Relevant technical background
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent sales skill and sales records from the Marine and Offshore industry.
  • Appropriate working experience may compensate for the education
  • Technical and commercial aptitude with desire to acquire thorough knowledge of the company's products and how they are used.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Focus on fulfilling the customer's needs and expectations
  • Reliable penchant for timely follow-up on deadlines without constant supervision
  • Innovative continuously improving processes and solution
  • Collaborative - able to motivate and cooperate with employees on all levels in the business
  • Proficient in the use of Superoffice, Microsoft Office, ERP systems and web-based software.
  • Well in command of English language Technical and commercial both written and oral.
  • Willing to travel internationally (expected + - 100 days a year)
