For one of our client, we are looking for an experienced accountant for a long term assignment.
The role of Accountant is a key member of the business team responsible for management and control of all financial reporting and administration requirements for the business unit.

Job Description

Manage the customer invoicing process, ensuring that sales invoices are generated accurately and as quickly as possible to all customers for all products.
Own credit control process with follow up of overdue customer balances and initiate internal DSO meetings monthly.
Support the monthly financial reporting process, ensuring that all tasks are completed effectively to ensure the month end timetable is adhered to.
Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and accounting entries required for month end reporting.
Provide additional support to the Finance Manager as required as part of the month end reporting process.
Assist with ad hoc financial analysis as and when required by the business.
Promote good communication within the administration team and with other stakeholders both internal and external.

Qualifications Requirements

Degree in finance and administration or equivalent.
Good financial accounting knowledge.
Microsoft Dynamics AX or similar ERP system experience.
C-Sam or equivalent asset management system experience.
Substantial working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Knowledge of oil & gas sector is desirable but not essential.
Used to working to high professional standards, with particular focus on delivering excellent customer service.
Demonstrates good leadership, commitment and focus on results.
Well organized, structured approach to working, with ability to prioritize and proven track record of delivering to deadlines.
Excellent written and oral communication skills (Norwegian and English).
Able to work both independently and as part of a team, depending upon circumstances.
