NOV Rig Aftermarket Programs is currently recruiting for a Project Manager, to join our Automation Programs team in Norway!


JOB SUMMARY

Plan, direct, and coordinate activities of designated Programs/s to ensure that goals or objectives of Program are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide customers/subcontractors and customer suppliers with a single point-of-contact and assume the role of communications coordinator for assigned Program/s, which includes coordinating within the various departments.
  • Assure preparation of customer documents are completed as required by the contract.
  • Represent Company at customer/subcontractor coordination status meetings.
  • Monitor all activities to assure costs and gross margins are met.
  • Track and control the financial components of the assigned Program/s.
  • Follow administrative procedures as necessary to assure the success of the Program.
  • Negotiate settlement of all claims associated with the Project.
  • Monitor all Program activities, report progress against plans and take corrective action as required to meet plans.
  • Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
  • Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.

FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define how the outputs and outcomes of the Program’s components are expected to contribute to the Program’s delivery of intended benefits
  • Monitor benefits realization of the Program’s components to ensure they remain strategically aligned to the objectives of the Program
  • Ensure the outputs and outcomes of the Program’s components are effectively communicated and considered so that the Program can effectively optimize the pursuit of its intended benefits and provide value
  • Lead and coordinate Program activities, including program Task Force meetings. 
  • Communicate with and report to stakeholders to provide an integrated view of all activities being pursued within the program
  • Proactively assess and respond to risks spanning the components of the Program
  • Monitor and resolve scope, budget, schedule, resource, quality, and risk issues 
  • Identify and communicate opportunities for program improvement based on tasks completed
  • Support team members on the development of Program Methodologies
  • Focus on Continuous Improvement
  • Contributes to Automation Program Steering Committee discussions

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Certification in Project Management
  • Business Management Degree
  • Knowledge of NOV Equipment
  • 2 years of Project Management Experience

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

  • Proficiency with MS Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Teams, SharePoint
  • Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence software
  • Familiarity with Amphion and/or Cyberbase Controls
  • Familiarity with NOVOS, MMC, and/or other Automation products
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau)
