As a developer in Trimble you will be part of a global team, but located in Norway/Sweden, together with highly skilled, engaging teams of software engineers and developers. 

We are proud of developing Trimble Quadri. An international software solution for designers, engineers, contractors and authorities in the construction industry. Quadri is a ground-breaking, collaborative 3D design solution with focus on the model - connecting processes, people and information.

Being part of the Quadri team, you will transform the way the construction industry works today. Develop the next-level of technology by bridging the gap between design and construct, as well as as-built data in infrastructure projects.

Trimble software engineering run from Sandvika, consists of 7 agile delivery teams located in Norway, Sweden, Finland and Thailand, each with unique and world leading competency in infrastructure design software. We are offering a position in one of our offices Sandvika, Norway or Gothenburg, Sweden. In addition, we collaborate closely with talented engineering teams working on other Trimble products such as SketchUp, SiteVision and Tekla.

How you can contribute:

Desired skills:

  • At least 2+ years of design & development experience in creating responsive web applications for desktops.
  • Additional experience building mobile applications is desirable but not required.
  • Excellent knowledge of HTML5, Javascript, Typescript, CSS3.
  • Extensive React or Angular experience is preferred with exposure to other common JS libraries.
  • Strong Software development fundamentals like OOPs, MVC, Algorithms & Design Patterns.
  • Knowledge of NodeJS, .NET Core, communication protocols & data services like REST, GraphQL, gRPC would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of 3D Technologies such as WebGL, Three.js and Unity.
  • Experience in the tools required in a development lifecycle: CI/CD, version control (Git), task and defect management (Jira), Agile development approaches.
  • Very good communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team are required.
  • Experience of working in a commercial environment with focus on delivering customer value in relatively short delivery cycles.
  • A passion for programming!
  • Fluent English and local office language (Norwegian or Swedish)

 

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or other relevant technical field required, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
  • Masters degree in computer science or in relevant engineering discipline with significant computer science or CAE content, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
