In 2019, Nexans started to build a team of in-house Talent Acquisition specialists, in order to directly managing recruitment operations based in Europe.
The team has been supporting internal stakeholders in all steps of the recruitment process, from the job briefing to the onboarding of newcomers, on a very large scope of job positions (related to industrial operations, R&D, support functions).
To strengthen the team and keep meeting our internal clients’ expectations, we are currently recruiting a
TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST
who will be based in our Oslo office.
Responsibilities and tasks
- Conduct job briefings with Hiring Managers and HR Managers in order to understand their needs, collect information, clearly explain the recruitment process, highlight our commitment about diversity & inclusion, define the sourcing strategy and identify the members of the interview panel
- Promote internal mobility across the group by identifying potential candidates inside the organisation together with the HR Managers, using talent pools and succession plans in collaboration
- Identify the most relevant sourcing tools in order to attract external candidates, advertise job requisitions and screen applications, conduct active searches
- Conduct interviews and provide a shortlist of relevant candidates
- Manage the candidate relationship throughout the whole recruitment process and ensure an outstanding candidate experience
- Manage the relationship with internal stakeholders and facilitate the interview process
- Provide an accurate weekly report and be able to constantly monitor KPI’s on jobs included in the respective portfolio
- Be a brand ambassador and play an active role in increasing the attractiveness of our Employer Brand
- Support the team in transversal projects related to Employer Branding & Campus Management, HRIS, Internal Mobility and other subject
Required skills and experience
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar role, acquired in-house or within recruitment firms
- A previous experience in manufacturing sector would be appreciated
- Business orientation
- Fluent in both Norwegian and English. Any other European languages would be a plus
- Proven sourcing skills, assessment skills, candidate management skills
- Customer orientation
- Ability to work with multiple people/projects simultaneously
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Taste for new technologies
- Rigorous and structured
