Banqsoft Credit Management is based at Føkserød in Sandefjord with over 80 employees. We develop solutions for the credit management and debt collection industry. We are the market leader in Norway and we are planning further expansion internationally.

About the role

We are expanding our development department in Sandefjord with a skilled Product Owner. We are looking for a person who have experience in understanding the customer's needs and translating these into technical descriptions, user stories and specflows. If you are experienced within Software development, preferably in financial tech, and have worked at the intersection of business and development – you are the person we are looking for.

The role as Product Owner involves taking ownership of one of our product areas and taking the lead in developing this together with a skilled development team. It is important to have good communication skills and the ability to understand both the business and the technical dialogue. 

What will you be doing

• Prepare solution descriptions, user stories and specflows based on the customer's requirements and needs

• Develop domain knowledge and be responsible for compliance within applicable laws and regulations.

• Responsibility for maintaining the product backlog and allocate resources according.

• Lead and follow up the development team in the daily work 

• Ownership of specific subject areas and integrations within our product portfolio.

• Responsibility for quality and documentation in deliveries. 

We would like to hear from you if you have:

• Higher education or relevant experience from similar work.

• Experience in understanding the customer's needs and translating these into technical descriptions and user stories.

• Experience of working in the interface between business and development

• Experience with the development of systems that have high requirements for security and privacy (GDPR)

• Experience with API’s and integration between systems

• Experience with agile methods, preferably Scrum

• Preferably experience as a solution architect or developer

• Ability to work independently and make responsible decisions

• Excellent communication skills in English and Norwegian, written and oral
