What you will be doing
The Project Engineer is central to the successful execution of new build and retrofit ET projects. This is achieved in partnership with the Project Manager, and through coordination and oversight of technical details throughout the project lifecycle. The position requires a genuine interest in marine technology, good attention to detail and the ability to multi task in a structured and efficient manner.
For us to be the best match, we expect you to independently manage simpler customer projects. You are proficient in written and spoken English. Preferably you have experience from the marine industry.
In this role your work will focus on:
• Participate in and coordinate basic and detailed design
• Develop and deliver technical specifications for procurement
• Control and monitor supplier performance and delivery to customers
• Participate in and coordinate testing and commissioning activities
• Assist the Project Manager with the management of projects, particularly in terms of quality and risk
• Prepare and manage technical information and documentation
• Report, communicate, and discuss technical matters internally, with customers and suppliers
• Complete other tasks as required by the Project Manager
• Participate in internal development projects if required

• Continuously improve work processes and procedures
To be successful in this role we expect you to have:
• Self-motivated to deliver results, is prepared to take initiative and make decisions where appropriate
• Structured and efficient, yet is also consistently accurate and attentive to the detail
• Flexible, positive, curious and willing to learn
• Willing to travel internationally, if required
• Is interested in progression to project management roles
Management & Leadership Competencies:
• Good coordination and communication skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a distributed project team
