About Our Team

The Nordics & BeNeLux team in the Cognizant Budapest center consists of 75 people divided into 5 sub-teams each providing service to a different client. The languages supported per client overlap with other clients. There are 15 different nationalities (covering 4 continents) in the team, which makes for an exciting mix of cultures and viewpoints.


Our team members have strong soft skills and are always happy to help each other. The same is the case with management; the teams are led in a very open and supportive way, with easy access to any of the team leads and the team manager.


About the Opportunity

The work that is expected of our colleagues is to help the employees of our clients with IT-related issues in their local languages. Our job is to gather information and try to solve the issues. If that is not possible we have the support of more technical teams that can take over the issue. The way we are in contact with the end-users is by telephone, email, ticketing tool, and chat.


Before our new-joiners will start working they will go through an extensive training program. The length depends on the experience new-joiners have and can take 2-6 weeks. This includes shadowing experienced colleagues. We take our time training our new-joiners for their future role and rather spend a bit more time on training to make sure the person is fully prepared.


Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Level 1 IT support: Handling end-user calls and web queries via tools, phone, and email
  • Documentation and detailed administration, logging of calls on the ticketing tool
  • Delegation of problems that cannot be resolved on the first level to the competent Level 2 teams
  • Guiding the user, own, and follow-up ongoing cases
  • Maintaining and improving customer happiness level

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Advanced or native in NORWEGIAN language and you have upper-intermediate English language skills
  • Experienced in any customer service – experience gained in IT Help Desk/ customer support role is an advantage but NOT a MUST
  • A university graduate - fresh graduates are encouraged to apply!
  • A willing-to-learn demeanor
  • Superb social skills – both written and spoken
  • Flexible, multitasking, dynamic personality, great teammate
  • Logical thinking, good problem-solving skills
  • Open for working in shifts
