As a global leader in hydrogen electrolyser technology, HydrogenPro is committed to deliver excellent technology, systems, and services to a growing customer base. Executing the projects at the right time and in the right way is key to realising our strategy. To strengthen our commercial team, we are now looking for a Sales Engineer to be based at our head office in Porsgrunn.

Our new Sales Engineer will become an important contributor to our sales- and marketing team. The team is responsible for presenting the company’s technical and professional capabilities to the markets, for initial concept studies and proposals, for principal technical solutions developed in a close co-operation with our technical staff and for pricing and tender participation.  


Your areas of responsibility will be:

  • The Sales Engineer’s main role will be to support the team with preparation of bid documents including supporting materials as drawings, documentation and specifications.
  • Build up tenders and preparation of contractual documents.
  • Have a central role in building sales supporting materials as Power Point presentations, documentation developement and handling etc.
  • Establish relationship towards sub-suppliers to ensure sufficient support for solutions, quotations and documentation.
  • Plan, set up and participate in client meetings when needed and follow up customer need for feedbacks and materials.
  •  Coordinate efforts across own departments in the sales projects
  • Ensure that the sales processes are carried out in compliance with requirements from authorities, customers and HydrogenPro.


Experience

  • Experience with technical sales preferred
  • International competence and cultural understanding an advantage
  • Have adequate computer skills with experience in Office tools and Autocad.
  • Fluent communication in English and Norwegian, both written and oral.


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical or Commercial disciplines

We are looking for a young talented hands-on person with a genuine desire to contribute and work together with our commercial team to develop the new green hydrogen industry and by this enable the company to optimize our combined sales- and project resources.

We are open for both technical as well as commercial backgrounds on Bachelor level, however you should have a developed technical understanding and interest for such.
