Our immune monitoring team are now looking for 2 talented and engaged scientists to join us at Vaccibody! 

 

The successful candidates will work in the immune monitoring lab within the bioanalytical sciences team who utilizes immunological techniques to investigate vaccine induced immune responses in early phase clinical trials. The Bioanalytical Sciences team drives the translational research and biomarker strategy that will impact and support Vaccibody’s clinical drug development programs bringing value to patients.

 

Responsibilities


In this role, you will be required to master commonly used techniques to study functional T cells responses, such as culturing of human T cells, ELISpot, flow cytometry, white blood cell counting/viability, PBMC isolation and cryopreservation. The candidates will work in collaboration with the immune monitoring staff and will use these methods to perform testing of samples as required across Vaccibody’s clinical development programs. The candidates will also assist with the execution, development and qualification of immune assays, and you’ll find that everything we do, every day, is in line with an unwavering commitment to quality.


1-3 Years of experience with multi-parameter flow cytometry is required for one of the positions. 


Laboratory work and reporting will be performed under GCP/GCLP and deliverables must be in compliance with relevant SOPs and regulatory requirements. Your significant experience of applying knowledge of principles, concepts, and practices of the discipline will make you a critical member of the team.


Who are we looking for?


The persons we are looking for has a Master/PhD in immunology or other relevant scientific disciplines. You have demonstrated a strong understanding of T cell immunology and experience in cellular assays such as ELISpot, flow cytometry and culturing of human T cells. Experience from industry and quality systems is an advantage, as well as experience from scientific projects within vaccines and/or immunotherapy. You are proactive in contributing to all team discussions and contribute to creating an environment of collaboration.
