Network and Systems Administration

Noroff Vocational School seeks new staff in the area of Computing.

You will collaborate closely with a highly competent team in delivering courses in NSA and NIS. We are looking for candidates that have excellent communication and teamwork skills and relevant work experience.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Teaching, engaging, and inspiring students and staff through both classroom and online delivery
• Contribute to development of required teaching material for both classroom and online delivery
• Contribute to the maintenance and development of existing courses
• Develop and run practical assessments and ensure adequate feedback to students
• Foster and maintain contact with the industry sector at a local level
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and students through internal networks and the sharing of ideas and information

• Enthusiastic and curious about vocational teaching and learning
• Contributes to great teamwork: Social skills, communication skills and collaboration skills
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver on deadlines
• Problem solver

Skills and Qualifications you must have:

• Relevant Bachelor’s degree or two-year vocational training in Computer Science, Computer Security or a related field
• Relevant skills and experience from working in one or more of the following areas:
  - Databases
  - Microsoft Technologies
  - Computer Law

Skills and qualifications we wish that you have:

• Pedagogic competence / teacher qualification
• Teaching / instructor / tutor experience
• Experience from designing, developing and implementation of curriculum
• Experience with online teaching
• Formal pedagogical background. We offer pedagogical training if necessary
• Knowledge and understanding of Higher Education
