Experienced Bioengineer/Scientist in T cell immunology

Zelluna Immunotherapy is an exciting and dynamic start-up based in Oslo, specializing in T Cell Receptor (TCR) cell therapies with a distinctive approach. The company is developing TCR guided Natural Killer cells (TCR-NK) as an allogeneic off-the-shelf cellular treatment option for solid cancer patients.

We are seeking an experienced scientist with experience in T cell immunology to support the development and expansion of our TCR-NK platform. The successful candidate will be passionate and excited by our approach and is someone who thrives in a continuous learning start-up culture as well as being dedicated to working with a team to deliver on our collective purpose.

Key Responsibilities

• To contribute to the generation of T cell clones and isolation of specific TCRs

• To initiate and execute laboratory work to advance TCR discovery to advance company objectives to agreed experiment deadlines, schedules, and objectives

• To isolate peripheral blood cells and culture different cell subsets as well as cell lines

• To apply molecular methods, e.g. RNA isolation, molecular cloning

• To ensure that all records and information are accurate, on time and recorded to the correct standard

• To work to the established laboratory procedure standards and the electronic infrastructure at Zelluna

• To participate in a team culture of engagement, enthusiasm, scientific rigor and ongoing challenge

Basic requirements

• Bioengineer or Bachelor/Master in Cellular Biology, Molecular Biology or a related discipline

• Expertise in cell culture methods and in molecular biology methods is required

• Expertise in working with human PBMCs, T cell-based assays (e.g. ELISA/ELISpot, flow cytometry, cell sorting, cancer cell killing etc.) is strongly preferred

• Ability to work very accurately with a very good documentation standard

• An appetite to work in a start-up company with a “roll your sleeves up” mindset
