Due to continuous increase in customers’ requests, we are looking for qualified Project Cost Controllers and Cost Controllers, preferably, with experience from the Oil industry. Suitable candidates will be permanently employed at Fabi and outsourced to long term assignments at different customers.

Main working tasks will include typically the following:

Responsible for preparing budgets, forecasts and monthly reporting including analysis and explanation of variances for assigned projects
Responsible for accurate Cost tracking and Cost control
Cross function collaboration with the Finance & Accounting Department
Provide analysis, monitoring and follow-up of time writing
Follow up of contracts terms and conditions
Contribute with improvements initiatives to procedures and systems
Other Ad-hoc tasks related to cost control

Qualifications

Master or bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Economics, Project Management or Technical degree
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in similar positions preferably from Oil related companies
Strong knowledge of Excel and experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, etc.
Cost control system competence and ability to learn and make use of Project softwares (EcoSys, PIMS, Assai, Synergi, Sharepoint, MS Office etc.)
English and Norwegian languages
