My name is Mikko Hellsten, and I am leading Home Connectivity team within Internet Access & Home Connectivity. Home Connectivity team is responsible for managing and developing in-home-connectivity products within Telia Company. We provide best-in-class, secure and easy to use connectivity solutions for our customers that work seamlessly with Telia services. We are a true cross-border team with innovative and energetic mindsets that share passion for making connectivity easy for our customers. We are now looking for CPE Expert to join our team in Norway.

In-house connectivity and especially today, Wifi is an integral part of the broadband customer experience. Increasing amount of internet services are consumed and number of connected devices in homes is rapidly increasing, partly accelerated by the ongoing pandemic. Providing excellent user experience is critical to our success. Our mission is to provide best customer experience for connectivity inside the home. In the role of CPE Expert, you will be responsible and take part in developing and implementing our common RGW (residential gateways) portfolio and related solutions. Your first project will be introducing the common RGWs and related services in Norway. You will be working closely with our global development team to deliver on our roadmap. You will also be responsible for maintaining the current product portfolio in Norway with LCM activities including firmware updates, testing& trouble shooting, vendor communication etc.

In addition to having a role as a technical expert you will also coordinate our activities in Norway as a Site Lead. This role includes defining and prioritizing our activities related to product portfolio and implementation of backend systems and analytics capabilities. In this role you will work closely with local stakeholders and our Product Management team.

 Your personality:

• High level of self-leadership
• Structured, organized, and great attention to detail
• Good communication skills (English as main language)

Your experience:

• Experience in working in a technical role within broadband and CPEs
• Experience in working in projects
• Experience from working in cross-border teams

We also value:

• Experience in one and more of the following:
  • Technologies (Docsis, FTTx, Fixed Wireless Access)
  • Programming (MySQL, Bash, Python or similar)
• Experience in product development
• Relevant technical education and other experience
