Our Yard Procurement department is now looking for a Subcontract and Warranty Advisor located in Egersund. The department in Egersund perform direct procurement and logistics activities for projects built at the yard.


What will you be doing?
The overall execution of subcontracts, expediting and material administration activities in the project such as:

• Establishing subcontracting plan
• Issue LOI (Letter Of Intent), prequalifications and enquiries, perform bid analysis and recommendations and issue subcontracts
• Follow up deliveries of services, materials, equipment and documentation
• Settlement of accounts and close out
• Ensure timely deliveries and correct quality in accordance with agreed budget and schedule
• Ensure that all activities related to the subcontract are performed according to established procedures, guidelines, and business policy
• Develop and maintain supplier relations
• Handling of Warranty issues
• The position may include travelling

We think you should have:

• Technical, law- and/or financial education at college level
• Alternatively long experience from the industry and/or within contracts, procurement and supply chain management
• Experience within contracts, procurement and supply chain management
• Multi-discipline understanding and commercial skills
• Good understanding of customer needs
• Team-player attitude
• Solid command of the English language, both written and spoken
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Strong work ethics and proactive attitude
• Innovative and creative mindset
