Sr.Buyer

Are you our new Sr. Buyer? We`re seeking a new colleague in the procurement department to help us further with our processes for follow up of suppliers and procurement. You are commercially driven with good technical insight and negotiation skills. A distinct team player who acknowledge the quality of a close dialog, involvement and communication with other departments. 

General tasks:

• Establish and maintain procurement strategies, procurement plans and budgets
• Prequalifications of suppliers and establish and maintain the company's supplier database
• Prepare contracts and framework agreements related to the company's purchasing needs
• Prepare purchasing packages, tender evaluation, negotiation, issuing of purchase orders and follow up related to project deliveries and ensure that these are in accordance with budget, agreed project contracts and requirements
• Manage, coordinate and perform necessary follow-up of the activities and the performance for assigned Procurement Packages
• Project reporting to Project Manager in accordance with project routines for progress, status, schedule, cost, risk and opportunity
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders, Amendments and Variation Orders
• Ensure that the project is carried out in accordance with the company's quality procedures
• Process claims and disputes of commercial character

Qualifications:

• Relevant degree qualification preferred but not essential
• Minimum 3-5 years professional experience
• Systematic and analytical skills 
• Knowledge of contract and contract management 
• Self-propelled, dedicated and pro-active 
• Strong IT Skills/Highly computer literate
• Good communicative skills in Norwegian and English
• Good at multi-tasking and able to react quickly to urgent issues

Work place will be our modern facility at Husøy. Some travel activity must be expected
