We are a unit responsible for the maritime digital platform in DNV with more than 50 people and several development teams.

We deliver modern business-to-business services both on-prem and in the cloud on a .NET/web-based technology stack.

The main area of responsibility for the position is to further develop the approval and storage core microservices.

These services support over 200 applications in delivering 24/7 support for doing both digitalized ‘paper’-approval and 3D model based approval.

Your responsibilities

• Be a driver for improvements and take ownership of the core module
• Design and develop innovative software solutions using agile methods
• Work closely with DNV technical and commercial software expertise to understand the problems to be solved and find the best solutions for the customers and us.
• Continuously improve relevant technology competence trough teamwork, networks, conferences and dedicated training

Position Qualifications

• You hold a Master or Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, or have a proven record as a solid software developer on the Microsoft technology stack
• You have several years of experience as a software developer
• You can break down complex problems, structure them, illustrate them, and propose solutions
• Good collaboration skills and team orientation
• Service mindset
• You have experience with and want to build robust, scalable and flexible solutions with .NET and web technology stack, e.g .NET 5+ ,MSSQL, Typescript, JS frameworks like React and message queues.
• Experience with Agile software development methods, software architecture and DevOps
• You have good verbal and written communication skills in English
