Position Summary
We are pleased to announce an exciting career opportunity placed in our factory in Bergen. The position`s main responsibility is to establish and continuously improve a Quality Control System in line with the Production Plan. This is an important role to ensure that our production meets all Corvus Quality Standards. The position will report to Manufacturing Manager.
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for establishing and maintaining a Quality Control System following the Production Plan
- Incoming Inspection
- Close cooperation with Sustaining Engineering and Supply Chain related to inspection criteria and quality issues
- Quality control and follow-up of non-conformance
- Responsibility for tool calibration at Sub-Contractors
- Daily focus on QHSE
- Participate in improvement projects within the position`s area of responsiblity
Qualifications and work experience required
- Bachelor's degree/Technical Vocational College in Machinery/Industry Mechanics or similar subjects
- 2+ years of relevant experience, preferably from larger industry environment and/or manufacturer
- Hands on experience with production, tooling and tolerances
- Truck driver permit, preferably T2-T4
- Experienced within Lean and 5S principles
- Advanced digital user. Experience with ERP-tools and/or Dynamics 365 is an advantage
- High working standards and team player
- Flexible and solution oriented
- Well organized and good multitasking capabilities
- English and Norwegian fluency
