Project Purchaser

Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For our customer HydrogenPro we are now looking for a Project Purchaser.

As a global leader in hydrogen electrolyser technology, HydrogenPro is committed to deliver excellent technology, systems, and services to a growing customer base. Executing the projects at the right time and in the right way is key to realising our strategy. To strengthen our project execution team, we are now looking for a Project Purchaser, preferable to be based at our head office in Porsgrunn.

The operational purchaser is responsible for ordering materials and have contact with suppliers to ensure the successful completion and delivery of electrolyser hydrogen plant EPCIC projects.
And to participate in internal development projects to further develop our product and system portfolio to meet customer requirements.

Your areas of responsibility will be:

• As project purchaser you have close dialog and collaboration with business line and requisitioners to understand expectations and needs.
• Based on project’s needs, negotiate contracts, set call offs and purchase orders towards suppliers.
• Assure material progress, cost follow-up and deliverables according to quality and project schedule.
• Active follow-up of order confirmations and undelivered order lines on purchase orders in the form of reminders, and enter order confirmation in ERP system.
• Active follow-up of any shortages of materials.
• Follow-up of supplier declarations and update the ERP system.
• Other department tasks

Experience, 5 years+

• Experience with large international multidiscipline projects preferably in the energy and/or process industry.
• Experience in using milestone-based project models.
• Experience with technology projects.
• Experienced user of ERP systems.
• International competence and cultural understanding.
• Fluent communication in English, both written and oral.
• Preferable Norwegian, both written and oral.

Education

• Bachelor- or Master, relevant to work tasks and responsibility.
