Manufacturing Operator

An opportunity has arisen as Manufacturing Operator with us at Kongsberg Maritime at one of our sites in Horten, Strandpromenaden. We are currently looking for two new colleagues to join us in our Composite Element Production department. In this role, you will take part in assembly of our composite for internal production.

As a Manufacturing Operator you should be detail-oriented and focus on quality over quantity. Kongsberg Maritime is a world leader in marine technology with reliability as one of our key values. Our products have a long production time and we are dependent on colleagues to detect defects and prioritize to deliver the right quality at the right time for our customers.

Key accountabilities

• Electromechanical assembly, gluing, inspection, and soldering flex-print or wires on composite
• Test and find solutions to solve defects, either manually or in one of our test robots
• Assemble, glue, solder, and inspect using microscope
• Deliver and plan assigned work tasks to efficiently contribute towards our customers expectations.

Qualifications and experience

• Certificate of completed apprenticeship within either production technique, goldsmith crafts or watchmaker. Relevant experience can compensate for lack of formal education
• Oral and written communication skills in Norwegian and English
