Do you want to take part in Digitizing the Ocean Space? Do you master the art of creating, capturing, and integrating data?

You will work in the underwater survey service team providing digital twin of the ocean space to clients. You will work closely with our GIS partner, our sensor developers, and our survey team to understand the needs and opportunities for developing functionality and services on top of our GIS basic system platform. You will take a lead role in developing and implementing new features, as well as maintaining and scaling the performance of the system platform.

Who are we looking for?

A strong team-player who would like to be part of a fast-growing team. You can be a senior and experienced professional or someone with little or no job experience, but with strong formal qualifications, an explorative mind and a quick learner. 

Preferred competencies:

• Experience from or demonstrated understanding of geo-spatial/spatial-temporal information data platforms, and/or digital twin data platforms.
• A strong digital skill set, including Python, SQL databases, APIs, Web programming, App development, DevOps methodology and Cloud services
• Not essential but appreciated is a demonstrated understanding of : AI/ML, ArcGIS, QGIS, Geoinformatics, and Data visualisation
• Full working proficiency in English, both oral and written

Formal qualifications:

MSc in Computer Science, Cybernetics, or equivalent digital science education. 

Personal skills:

• A strong team-player
• Enjoys customer facing activities and focus on the end use
• Innovative and ability to take a lead role in developing and implementing new features
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate at all levels of the organisation
