Our technology development team in Altus Intervention Technologies is offering an exciting opportunity for a curious, dynamic and adaptable R&D Project Engineer for the Stavanger office. Responsibilities includes design, engineering, prototyping and qualification work associated with new product development.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor or master’s degree in Mechanical or Petroleum engineering, and has experience with product development or engineering.

Arbeidsoppgaver

• Technology development work “full cycle”
  • Participate in definition of project scope and requirements, including defining software and control aspects for application use
  • Concept, feasibility assessment and detailed engineering
  • Prototyping, test fixture design and design of experiments
  • Qualification to acceptance criteria, from component to system integration level
  • Commercial launch activities
• Technical support to field organisation
• Delivery results according to established standards, project plans and budgets
• Work and collaborate with global multi-disciplinary technical and field teams

Kvalifikasjoner

• Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering
• Preferable 5 years or more engineering or product development experience, however recent graduates with the right background, results and attitude are encouraged to apply
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Field experience would be an advantage or 3 years minimum practical experience with use/ design of electro-mechanical and hydraulic systems
• Solid skillset in CAD. Experience with PLM and FEA is an advantage
• Fundamental excel, data analysis skills
• Documentation skills (test reports, user documentation) expected – logical and structured
