M3 Finance Consultant

The M3 Finance Consultant takes ownership of the applications that are part of Finance area of Mowi’s Global ERP Template and provides expertise related to accounting and controlling solutions, with particular emphasis on M3. The successful candidate will be part of the global M3 rollout team, reporting to the Group IT application manager.  Location is flexible and working from home is possible, but preferred location is at the headquarter in Bergen, alternatively close to key Mowi offices in Poland (Gdansk), Belgium (Bruges) or UK (Rosyth).

Responsibilities

• Provide a leadership role in the successful implementation of M3 Finance & Accounting solutions throughout Mowi’s global business
• Support other consultants throughout the lifecycle of implementation projects
• Drive improvement efforts in cooperation with key business resources for entities that are already using M3
• Lead and facilitate process design discussions with business process leaders to determine and validate detailed business requirements
• Ensure that M3 is configured according to the Mowi template to deliver efficient finance and accounting processes across locations in Mowi
• Deliver M3 training in the Finance & Accounting area, and support users with system testing, and solving issues in cooperation with other Mowi employees and project resources
• Support super users after go live with period-end closing and other processes as needed
• Provide M3 expertise to support Global Process Owners
• Develop and maintain documentation including integration process and data flows, system context diagrams, system and data interfaces, and controls for the M3 finance and accounting area
• Support the Data Governance process and help ensure that relevant data is accurate when loaded into the system, and that master data creation / maintenance processes are followed
• Coordinate with Infor Xtreme Global support for analysing and fixing root cause issues, as needed
• Liaise with Infor on new development, including general improvements in M3 and local legal requirements in relevant Mowi markets
• Take internal ownership of other relevant finance applications, including consolidation, reporting, expense management, etc

Knowledge, skills and education required

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or relevant major or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of implementation experience with M3, preferably in a multinational company or as an external consultant
• Strong knowledge of financial management in M3, preferably in the foods or FMCG industry.  Some knowledge of supply chain management in M3 is desirable. 
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally and cross-culturally
• M3 module knowledge and operation capabilities of key Infor components
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, including ability to explain difficult concepts in a clear manner.
• Highly motivated and able to prioritize and execute tasks effectively within aggressive timeframes
• Some travel may be required
