We are looking for a Field Engineer for our downhole business

TCO Group is a provider of products and services to the global oilfield services industry. The company serves the upstream oil and natural gas industry throughout the reservoir life cycle. We count 90 skilled employees, located at our offices around the world.   

TCO AS has an open position as Field Engineer in the Operations Department. The position will be a part of TCO's Field Engineer pool working on allocated projects offshore and onshore, in Norway and abroad. The Field Engineer will be working within all three of TCO's product lines; Chemical Injection, Glas Plug and TCP. Therefore, experience with completion and/or perforation will be advantageous.

The Field Engineer will report to the allocated Field Service Manager.

Main tasks

Tasks will normally consist of, but not be limited to:

• Operations offshore/onshore for the company.
• Maintenance and upgrading of equipment.
• Undertake Quality and HSE activities, ref. Input Process etc.
• Equipment logistics.
• Customer service.
• Devise quality plans.
• Develop and improve working processes within their field of responsibility and ensure that planned improvement measures are undertaken.
• Vendor management.
• Devise product documentation and archiving
• Other tasks as planned by the company.

Requirements for competences

• Technical College or relevant Trade Certificate. Relevant experience and competence can compensate for a lack of qualifications.
• Possesses offshore certificate and health certificate.
• Solid experience with customer and vendor management, related to offshore activities or other industries with strict requirements for quality.
• Systematic, independent and analytical.
• Initiative, the ability to see things through and to work with others.
• Good verbal and written formulation in Norwegian and English.
