This is an exciting period to join Statkraft. The power industry is being transformed through the rapid rise in renewable generation. Statkraft is a global company with 4500 employees in 17 countries and the largest producer of renewable energy in Europe. Statkraft is pursuing a growth strategy by expanding as wind and solar developer, optimising flexible hydropower, and developing our market operations.  

IT and digital solutions plays a critical role along Statkraft entire value chain. Our IT solutions are critical for information gathering, analysis, exploration, production planning, monitoring, sales etc. IT is also important in safeguarding our operations. Our IT solutions are rapidly becoming more sophisticated and interdependent. Based on the characteristics of our business, we develop many of our business-critical systems ourselves. 

We seek to strengthen our capabilities adding two experienced and motivated senior project managers to lead and manage the more complex IT and digitalisation projects in our portfolio.

Your role: 

• Responsible for planning and execution of complex and business critical IT / Digitalisation projects and programmes 

• Secure collaboration and project results with resources from the different units within IT, and from the business side, delivering value through proficient project management 

• Work closely with project owners and key stakeholders maximizing business value through IT and digital solutions 

• Be a team player supporting and collaborating with the rest of the project management team, sharing your skills and experiences to raise the team performance and its capabilities  

Your profile: 

We are looking for candidates who are high performing individuals with drive, high ethical standards, and with a clear can do attitude.  

The right candidate has a deep interest, motivation and experience in leading business critical IT and digitalisation projects. Key competence areas could be within software development, cloud and SaaS, integration, security, acquire and implementation etc. You acknowledge the importance of change management and are motivated by collaborating with skilled colleagues reaching ambitious project goals. Working experience from consulting companies or similar roles in global industrial companies are highly relevant. 

Strong communication capabilities and talent for building network and trusted relationships is a necessity and has proven key for project success.  

You have higher education at university level or equivalent, and you speak English fluently in addition to one of the Scandinavian languages.

The position is located at Statkraft HQ, Oslo, Norway. Some project related travel may be required.
